killed in Normandy, August, 1944. Was at Dunkirk.
Black, Sergt. D.R., R.T.R., of 14 Tweed Street,
Berwick, who died of wounds Oct. 24, 1942,
following Middle East desert tank battle.
Brown, Pte. J.C. son of the late Mr and Mrs
Matthew Brown, Grieve Cottage, Tweedmouth,
killed in Sept. 1944.
Clark, Fus. J.W., R.N.F. Son of Mrs Frank Scott,
West Street, Berwick, died as prisoner of
war in Jap. hands, 1943.
Davidson, Sgt. W., H.L.I. Son of Mr and Mrs D. Davidson,
Fallodon Terrace, Tweedmouth, who died of wounds
received in North-West Europe, Sept., 1944.
Demee, L/Bdr. R., R.A., of 37 Main Street, Spittal,
who died of wounds, Nov. 23, 1943, received in
action in Italy.
Dempsey, S/Sgt. W.L., of “Dalveen”, Castle Drive,
Berwick, serving in the K.O.S.B., was killed in
Normandy, June, 1944.
Derry, Leading Boy, of 58 Union Park Road, Tweedmouth,
one of the 800 victims of the sinking of
H.M.S. Royal Oak in October, 1939.
Dixon, Seaman G.J., of 55 St. George’s Road, Berwick,
killed in action in January, 1944.
Drysdale, Sgt. John. Son of Mr J. Drysdale, Tweedmouth,
wounded in Normandy and died of wounds.
Farrish, Pte. R.G.W., S.H., of 66 Union Park Road,
Tweedmouth, who was killed in action in France
in June, 1940.
Fiddes, F/Sergt. R., R.A.F., of Camphill, Berwick,
who was killed in air operations in December, 1943.
Hall, Fus. Robt., of 3 The Friars, Bamburgh, who was
killed in the Middle East in Nov., 1942, having
been previously wounded on two occasions.

Gavinton, Duns, killed in North-West Europe,

was killed in action in Italy, in July, 1944.

Tweedmouth, who was killed on May 26, 1944.

who died in a military hospital in India

and was later reported presumed dead.
