Memorial Description: Cross of Celtic type, ornately carved, 43 inches high (109cms), on a pedestal 9 feet high (2.7m)
This is set on two steps, each is 9 inches high, one being 48 inches square and the other 36 inches square (23cms x 122cms x 91cms).
The whole is raised up by five courses of stone to the level of the churchyard behind.
The dedication is carried on the front face of the pedestal.
On either side, a plaque 24 inches high x 27 inches wide (61cms x 69cms) has been fixed to the front of the wall, bearing the names in a single column on each, using sans serif capitals.
The inscription and names for 1939-45 are carried on the riser of the top step in lead lettering.
