Memorial Description:

Lychgate with stone walls and very mellow lichened slate roof.

On the inside walls are two plaques 37 inches high x 28 inches wide (95cms x 72cms), one bearing the names and the other bearing the dedication.

The lettering is incised using Roman capitals throughout.

Notes:

1. One correspondent says the plaques are of bronze, another says they are made of steel.

2. The plaques are no longer in the lychgate due to vandalism. They are now inside St. Stephen’s church.
