Memorial Description:

Plaque, upper one of two occupying a wood pattress approx. 36 inches (912mm) square.

There is a single line border.

The top line and the quotation at the bottom are in elaborate letters. The rest is in elongated Roman upper case.

The names are listed in three columns, using sans serif capitals.

Notes:

1. Prior to its move from Keppel Street Police Station, the plaque was fixed to a wooden backboard (which it shared with the WW2 memorial plaque). That backboard has since been removed, and the plaque is now fixed to the brick wall in the foyer of the Police Station in Station Road.
