Unveiled 18th October 1923 by Major Anderson, D.S.O., M.C.; dedicated by Rev. Irvine Crawshaw.

To the glory of God
and in grateful memory of the men
of this Church, who made the
supreme sacrifice in the Great War

say not that the brave die.”

Memorial Description:

Plaque 59 inches high x 39 inches wide (150cms x 100cms) in wood frame.

The wood surround echoes the shape at the top of the plaque, but extends below it to incorporate a shelf below the plaque.

The plaque itself has a shallow pointed top. There is a raised moulded border.

At the top is a laurel wreath, incised and painted black.

The names are listed in two columns, all lettering is in Roman capitals except the quotation at the bottom which is in Roman lower case.

All lettering is incised and painted black.
