Memorial Description:

Processional Cross mounted on stone plaque bearing the names.

The plaque is 78 inches high x 36 inches wide (198cms x 91cms) with hemispherical top.

There is a plain raised edge.

At centre top is a raised circular platform painted blue with gilded edge which forms a “halo” to the top of the cross.

The names are incised in a single column, the lettering in Roman capitals and coloured red.

At the bottom is a scroll raised in half relief in bronze.

The processional cross has a turned wood shaft, surmounted by a ball decorated with a zigzag pattern.

The cross itself rests on inlaid wood, with a bronze boss at the crossing.
