(British Legion, Women’s Section).

Now in St.Margaret’s Chapel, Pegswood, accompanied by a Royal British Legion banner.

Plaque 36 inches high x 18 inches wide (91cms x 46cms).

There is a single line white border.

At the top is the badge of the British Legion.

The letters are engraved and painted in white Roman capitals.

1. This was on the wall in the entrance passage. It was in main hall, but moved to a passage when the extension was built. The building was demolished in 2014.

2. The plaque was cleaned and restored before removal to its new location.
