                                          time, extensive research has

                                          produced no further information

                                          . . . . He is our own “unknown

                                          warrior”.

                             on staff.    Medical Corps 1916-18.  Reported

                             B.A. (Wales) missing on or since 15 June 1918     

                             (Geography)  in Salonica/Macedonia when he

                                          was aged about 25.  Our

                                          attention was drawn to him by

                                          the Welsh Bards’ Society in 1991

                                          when it enquired if we knew what

                                          had happened to “this brilliant

                                          bard and scholar” from Penyfed.

                                          His fate is still not known.
