Memorial Description:

Triptych in the shape of a plain box 10 inches high x 12 inches wide (25cms x 30cms) with two doors which open to reveal a glass fronted case.

Inside this is a card 11 inches high x 9 inches wide (28cms x 23cms) which bears the dates 1939-1945 and the names below in two columns.

The lettering is hand printed in black with red initials.

Notes:

1. The design included St. Cuthbert’s pectoral cross, but the Chancellor insisted this be omitted.
