Memorial Description:

Triptych with gable top, 46 inches high x 47 inches wide (116cms x 120cms) when doors are open.

In the gable are the words “For / God, King and Country” painted in red in Roman capitals.

The central panel has the words “Aug. 4th 1914-Nov. 11th 1918” painted in black lettering on the top frame, and “The Heroic Dead” on the bottom frame, all in Roman capitals.

The panel has a red cross as a background, reaching to all extremities of the panel. Below each arm are the names and dates in two columns of those who died.

The insides of the doors each bear the words “Roll of Honour” at the top, and underneath are the names of those who served, each entered under the year in which they presumably enlisted.

All names are painted in black Roman capitals.
