Memorial Description:

Inscription 60 inches high by 45 inches wide (152cms x 114cms)

This is inscribed on a face of an octagonal pillar of alternate red and white stone on the south east side of the crossing which supports the church tower.

Above the inscription is carved a cross set in a circle.

Below the names is the quotation which is in larger capitals runs across the two faces on each side.

The letters are inscribed and blackened, using Roman capitals.
