the men of this Church who gave their lives for
their country in the Great War 1914-1918

“Faithful unto death”

Memorial Description:

Plaque, set in a wide wood frame, 24 inches high x 36 inches wide (606mm x 914mm).

There is a wide border of cord design, culminating in a knot in each corner.

At centre top are crossed flags, coloured red and blue, with the words “For King & Country” between.

The names are listed in three columns.

The first line of the dedication and the quotation at the bottom are in Gothic script, other lettering is in elongated Roman capitals.

Notes:

1. The building was sold because it would cost too much to repair.

2. It is hoped to be able to store the memorial locally. Update required.
