The son of Elizabeth Vyse, and the late John Andrew Vyse and the husband of Barbara Ann Vyse (nee Smith), of 20, Big Yard, Low Lights, North Shields. He was born at North Shields.

The Rambler was a steam Trawler, ship number 105224, based at North Shields.

Charles Thomas Vyse is remembered at North Shields on N34.77, at Tynemouth in T36.14 page 27 and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
