On Tower Hill Memorial is the name of Second Officer Thomas Davison, serving on S.S. Roxburgh (Newcastle) with the Mercantile Marine who died 05/03/1918.

The son of the late Thomas and Francis Davison and the husband of Esther Davison (nee Nightingale), of 35, Jackson Street, North Shields. He was born at Sunderland.

The Shields Daily News 08/04/1918 reports:-
DAVISON. —Torpedoed the Mediterranean March 5th 1918. Thomas Davison, dearly loved husband Esther Davison, 35 Jackson Street, and son of the late Frances and Thomas Davison, shipowner and master mariner of Sunderland -Deeply mourned
