The son of Stephen and Sarah Winifred Hadwin, of Fenham, Newcastle upon Tyne.

The headstone reads:

In loving remembrance of
G.H. Ronald Hadwin, Radio Officer, M.N.
Died 17th October 1945 aged 23 years

Also his brother Gordon S. Hadwin
Died 24th March 1942 aged 10 years.
