In St. Riquier British Cemetery, France is the Commonwealth War Grave of Major Cyril Edgar Foggin, serving with the 40th Squadron  Royal Air Force who died 30/07/1918.

The son of William Shield Foggin and Elizabeth Jane Foggin, of Richmond Villas, Haddricks Mill Road, South Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne.

He was educated at Dame Allan’s School.

He was a pilot who joined the Royal Flying Corps, was injured but returned to active service.
