David Marion Burton Baker was the son of William Henry and Hetty Baker and the husband of Margaret Baker (nee Lister), of Heaton, Bradford, Yorkshire.

He had been awarded The Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society Medal, The Shipwreck and Mariners’ Royal Benevolent Society Medal and the Board of Trade Bronze Medal.

David Marion Burton Baker is remembered at Boulmer on B49.06 and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
