Death divides
but memory clings forever

He  was the son of Harry and Sarah Hannah Allison and the husband of Margaret Oliver Allison, of North Shields.

CWGC records say that he was serving on H.M.S. Daedalus others say H.M.S. Lympne.

The Shields Daily News 24/06/1940 reports:-
DEATHS Chatham. June 21. aged 21 years. Alexander Allison, of 35 Blackthorns Crescent, dearly beloved husband of Margaret Allison (nee Case). Interment Preston Cemetery Tuesday. leaving residence 3.00 p.m. Friends please accept this (the only) intimation .
