On Tower Hill Memorial is the name of Second Engineman John George Watson, serving on Steam Trawler Ethelwulf (North Shields)  with the Mercantile Marine who died 01/12/1918.

The son of Edmund Watson and the late Sarah Watson and the husband of Polly Watson (nee Reed), of 140, Church Street, North Shields. He was born at South Shields.
