The son of Frank and Annie Hedley, of 14, Brick Row, Bebside Furnace, Bebside, Northumberland.

Morpeth Herald 07/07/1916 carries a brief obituary:
Stoker George Hedley, Brick Row, Bebside Furnace, H.M.S. Indefatigable. He was the third son of Pte. and Mrs Hedley to give his life in the war.

George Hedley is remembered at Bebside on B14.02 and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
