On Tower Hill Memorial is the name of Donkeyman Henry Scott, serving on S.S. Saxon Briton (Grangemouth) with the Mercantile Marine who died 06/02/1917.

He was the son of the late William and Ann Scott and the husband of Elizabeth Scott (nee Dobson), of Cross Row East, Radcliffe, Acklington, Northumberland. He was born at Skilbottle, (Shilbottle?) Northumberland.

In Amble West Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

In
loving memory of
our dear parents

Elizabeth Scott
died Oct. 24th 1941
aged 69 years

Henry Scott
lost at sea through
enemy action Feb. 6th 1917
aged 60 years.
