The son of Fred Clarke Richardson and Ivy Richardson, of St. Anthony’s, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Fred was born June 10th 1917. In 1939 the family were living at 944 Walker Road. Father Fred born 1889 was a Public Works Contractor labourer, mother Ivy was born in 1891, sister Frances born November 2oth 1922 was an Office Assistant as was brother John born January 3rd 1925. Fred was a transport Driver Assistant.

The Newcastle Evening Chronicle 19/08/1943 reports:-
RICHARDSON. Driver. R E. B.D. Fred Clark Richardson, dearly beloved son of Fred and Ivy 944 Walker Road, died in Plymouth Hospital Aug. 15. Internment St Anthony’s Churchyard Friday leaving residence 2. 30. Friends and neighbours kindly Invited. A loved one from our home has gone Deeply mourned
