The son of Mrs. E. Cassidy, of 2, Tilburn Place, Southwick and the husband of Mrs. A. Stephenson (formerly Allison), of 13, Church Street, Southwick, Sunderland.
Soldiers Died in the Great War states that he was born in South Hetton, enlisted in Newcastle upon Tyne and resided at Southwick.
John Allison is remembered at Southwick on S130.22, at Sunderland in S140.48 Part 12 page 263 and as “J.T. Allison” in Peter Gibson’s book.
Southwick’s War Memorial S130.01 does not include any names.
