The son of John George and Annie Wishart, of South Moor, Stanley, Co. Durham.

He in listed in the Scout Roll of Honour 1939-45 as having been a member of 1st South Moor (St. George’s) Group.

Jack Edward Wishart is remembered at South Moor on S129.01, at Tanfield Lea on T63.05 and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
