He was the son of John and Elizabeth Ann Harris, of 2, Cross Row, Dinnington Colliery

HMS Victory II was a shore-based training depot at Crystal Palace for R.N. Divisions in 1914-1919.

Ernest Harris is remembered at Dinnington on D10.04 and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
