On Chatham Naval Memorial is the name of 4445S Stoker William Parkinson Greenwood, serving on H.M.S. Black Prince with the Royal Naval Reserve who died 31/05/1916.

In Wheatley Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:-

Who died 7th July 1925
Aged 65 years

Also of the above
Mary Greenwood
Who died 11th August 1929
Aged 60 years

Also of their son Willie
who fell in action May 31st 1916
Aged 25 years
