The son of Janet Kay Miller, of 2, The Bungalows, Tanfield Lea, Tantobie, and the late James Hedley Miller.

An obituary notice was posted in the Blaydon Courier 08/03/1919:
Miller: At the residence of his sister, Mrs. Reed, 2 Neal Terrace, Tantobie, died 1st March, aged 25 years. H.M.S. George William Miller, Leading Seaman.
