He was the son of Thomas and Louisa Wouldhave, of 312, South Palmerston Street, South Shields.

Frederick Wouldhave was born on the 10th October 1880, 5 feet two inches. dark complexion, blue eyes, black hair. He enlisted on the 19th February 1903. He was based at Pembroke. Service number RN 303106.

HMS Conquest was sunk by a Mine on the 19th June 1918. Frederick died of his injuries at the RNSQ at Shotley.

Frederick Wouldhave is remembered at South Shields on S86.051, and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
