In Newcastle upon Tyne (All Saints’) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 117881 Private George Gray, serving with Royal Army Medical Corps, who died 05/01/1918.

George was born in 1886, the son of George and Sarah, of 45 Gibson Street, Newcastle upon Tyne.
He died at home from wounds he received on active service
The CWGC entry originally stated that his name was on the Brookwood 1914-18 War Memorial but this has been adjusted.
George’s brother John also died serving with the Royal Navy.
