Memorial Description

Plaque, very plain, 16½ inches wide x 4 inches high (419mm x 102mm) with the corners indented. There is a single line border. Lettering is in Roman capitals.

To the glory of God and in thankful remembrance of
Kenneth Bruce Stuart, 2nd Lieutenant 6th Durham Light Infantry
who was killed leading his men in the attack on the
Butte de Warlencourt on November 5th 1916 aged 20 years
Dying as he lived a true and steadfast soldier of our Lord Christ
Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life
for his friends.

Grant unto him eternal rest, O lord.
