Unveiled 28th November 1920 by Col. Taylor of Dilston Hall, Corbridge; dedicated by Bishop Ormsby.

Memorial Description

Cross, rough-hewn, of Celtic type, mounted on a square pedestal, about 5m high and base approx. 2m x 2m. The text "Their name liveth for evermore" is in a panel at the base of the shaft.
The front and two sides of the pedestal have been dressed to form the panels on which the dedication and names have been incised and painted black using sans serif capitals.
