Memorial Description

Plaque with raised centre top. At centre top is a crossed carved in half relief and gilded. On either side are roundels painted in full colour depicting (left) Royal Navy and (right) the Army. Similar roundels at the bottom depict (left) Royal Air Force, (centre) the English red cross and (right) Merchant Navy. The dedication is at the top, the exhortation in the middle. The names are listed in three columns. All lettering is incised and gilded using Roman capitals.
