Memorial Description

Plaque. It has a very elaborately carved and traceried frame of carved vines and grapes. The central panel has a cross carved in the top half, with the initials “A.M.D.C.” in the four quarters. In the lower half is the dedication.
The names are carried in a single column on each of the two flanking panels which are of darker wood. The names are incised and gilded Roman capitals. The quotation is carried in large Gothic capitals along the bottom border.
