Dedicated 24th July 1921 by the Bishop of Durham.
Memorial Description
Plaque. Heavy ornate wood frame with dome at centre top, rolled moulded edges ending in a scroll at the bottom on both sides. The central plaque bears the dedication. In the domed top is the regimental badge. The lettering is carved and coloured black using Roman capitals.

To the glory of God and in sacred remembrance of
Harold, aged 22 years
late 2nd Lieut. in the 13th East Yorks. Regt.
The dear elder son of Mrs. C. and the late W.J. Bell
killed in action on the 13th November 1916.
“For the cause of freedom and humanity”.
