Plaque on wood pattress. The plaque has a shallow dome at centre top with the top corners raised. There is a rolled edge. Names are listed in two columns using serif capitals.

1. The final name, of a man who died in 1938, is understood to be that of a test pilot, who was killed while test-flying a Spitfire.
