Memorial Description

Plaque with fluted frame. The central panel has a border of blue and gold mosaic. At centre top is a cross incised into the alabaster. The names are listed in two columns. The dedication is in Old English lower case, the names in elaborate Roman and the rest below this is in sans serif capitals. The quotation at the bottom is in sans serif capital italics.

Brown and white alabaster.

To the Glory of God / and in grateful memory / of / (names) / all of this parish / who laid down their lives / in the Great War / 1914-1918.
Death is swallowed up in victory.
