Memorial Description

Chancel screen and plaque. The plaque has a wide border with various badges (Left, top to bottom) (1) Durham Light Infantry (2) Machine Gun Corps, (3) Northumberland Fusiliers, (4) King George VI badge. (Right, top to bottom) (1) Royal Navy, (2) Royal Air Force, (3) Royal Army Medical Corps, (4) Police? carved in half relief at the sides, on red background picked out in gold.
The words “Pro Patria” and “1914 1919” are raised in half relief and gilded at top and bottom respectively. The names are in three columns, in blue Roman capitals.
A shelf and vases at the back of the church are also part of the memorial.
