Memorial Description

Roll of Honour, 22 inches high x 18 inches wide on parchment, set in a plain wood frame. The title "Roll of Honour" is in illuminated Gothic script. Below this are painted flags between two laurel sprays above a ribbon bearing the dates and "Matfen Parish" and the dates. At the bottom, the words "For King and Country" are in Gothic upper and lower case. The roll is handwritten in ink.
The page is divided into three columns of 9 spaces, into which the names are set in the first two columns, with the third column left blank.
