Present Location

The memorial was removed from the Grammar School at Fellside when the new school in Whetstone Road was opened in April 1965. The school became a Comprehensive School in 1976.

Memorial Description

Plaque 61cm high x 122cm wide, mounted on a wood backing. This is the lower of two plates mounted on the same board. In the centre top of each is an embossed and enamelled copy of the school badge, with the appropriate date on either side of the badge, written in Gothic lettering. The names are listed in three columns, with a vertical line between each column, using sans serif capitals.
