Memorial Description
Cross on tall, plain tapering shaft with deeply bevelled edges, on stepped base of four stages. The dedication for 1914-18 is on the front and that for 1939-45 on the back.

Notes
1. This is identical to the memorial on Holy Island. There are others of similar design elsewhere.
2. The Strakers lived at Angerton Hall, where Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll had designed the garden in 1904.
3. The cross was upgraded to Grade II* in Heritage England Listing in 2015.
