Memorial Description:

Plaque with elaborate frame of pilasters and entablature.

At centre top is an elaborate crown with the words “For King and Country”.

In the top frame is a ribbon scroll with the words “C.C. & Co. Roll of honour”.

In the central panel, the names are listed in four columns.

Those from 1939-45 are below those of 1914-18.

The central panel has the names painted in gold and is glass fronted.

It stands on a concrete base and is fixed to a wall in an area where a garden has been created.

The quotation is on the base.

b. 28 NCOs and men.

Notes:

1. From the firm, 811 employees served with the forces in 1914-18, of whom 80 died.

2. At some stage this was replaced by a stone memorial. See G39.127
