Memorial Description

Plaque, 35 inches high x 26 inches wide, of classical design with raised pilasters on either side. The words "For God, King and Country" are in a border at the top, while the words "The Heroic Dead" are at the bottom, with a painted star on either side.
On the main central panel, the names are listed in two columns, hand painted in gold sans serif capitals. Those who died are indicated by a star to the left of the name.
Low down on one side is a plaque telling the origins of the timber used.

Mahogany plaque and frame made from timber from “H.M.S. Britannia”
