Memorial Description

Roll of Honour in a frame behind glass. It is of pre-printed type, with a border of laurel leaves. The words “Roll of Honour” are on a ribbon at the top, with the union flag and wreath below. The names are handwritten in two columns. Some names have an asterisk to one side denoting the fallen.

Notes

1. Four members were presented with gold watches after winning honours during the war. These were: Captain L Sample; G. Duffy; R. Morrison; S.W. Weatherall. The inscription read: “Presented by Thermal Syndicate Ltd. Directors, Staff and Employees to commemorate Honours won in the War 1914-18.
Capt. L. Sample later served in 1939-45.
