Unveiled 23rd October 1921 by Mr. Grayley. Service conducted by Rev. C. Alexander Duthie, address by Rev. Frederick E. Brown, D.S.O.

Memorial Description

Plaque with domed top set on a rectangular light oak base. There is a rolled moulded edge. At centre top is a cross inside a laurel wreath, raised in half relief. The names are listed in two columns in raised Roman letters, with the quotation at the bottom in italics.

Bronze.

Inscription

To the glory of God / and in proud and / grateful memory of the / men of this church who / served in the War 1914-1918./ The names of those who fell / are here inscribed.

Notes

1. Rev. Frederick E. Brown had been a chaplain in France during the whole of the Great War.

2. Mr. Grayley was the father of the late W.E. Grayley, D.C.M.
