Memorial Description
Plaque 1 foot 8 inches high x 1 foot 9 inches wide. At the top are the words “For valour” with the Victoria Cross below. At the bottom is the Royal cipher. Lettering is in raised Roman capitals.

1. The new library building was opened in 1967.
2. Lieut. Cooper was selected with Sergt. Major Tosefield to lay a wreath at the unveiling of the cenotaph in 1923.
