Roll of Honour “beautifully illuminated in gold and colours, and framed in oak”

Inscription

St. Oswald’s Church, Shiney Row.
To the Glory of God and in memory of the men of this parish whose names are inscribed below who sacrificed their lives in the Great War 1914-1919. The altar and reredos in the church as well as the Roll of Honour are erected by those for whom they died.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

1. This was probably replaced by S124.08 which covers both wars. There are also quite a few differences in the names.
