Memorial Description
Plaque, approx. 10 inches high, slightly curved. There is a single line border, culminating in each corner with a fleur-de-lys. The lettering is in Roman capitals for the dedication, sans serif capitals for the names, and Gothic for the quotation at the bottom.

Notes
1. Originally the plaque was mounted on a German shell case and stood outside the Village Institute, which explains its curved shape, but the case was taken away to help the war effort in 1939 and the plaque moved into the church.
