Originally in premises on the corner of Market Place, next to the clock tower. It does not seem to have moved when the club moved to new premises in the move to Dark Lane.

Unveiled Sunday 3rd April 1921 by Alderman George B. Bainbridge, President of the Morpeth Y.M.C.A.

Memorial Description

Plaque, 15 inches (37cm) square. There is a narrow raised border of ?grapevines. To the left is a lady in half relief blowing a horn from which a banner is suspended which bears the words “Roll of Honour”. All lettering is in sans serif capitals raised in half relief.

2. This was found in a garage in 2013, but before it could be relocated the garage was subject to an arson attack and the plaque was severely damaged.

3. 2 In 1949 there was a proposal to add the names from 1939-45
