Plaque 10 inches high x 15 inches wide. There is a wide patterned border of trefoils with squares at the four corners. The lettering is in Roman , the quotation is in Gothic.

1. "Roderick Charles McLeod was a McLeod of Dunvegan Castle, Isle of Skye. His son, Ian Breac, killed in the First World War, would have become the McLeod of McLeods. Canon McLeod was Rural Dean and a competent composer of music."
