Plaque of zinc 32½ inches high x 17 inches wide mounted in a wood frame with total height of 36½ inches high x 21 inches wide. The name of the school is borne on a plate at the top. The dedication is on another plate below this. The main plate bearing the names is set into the frame itself. It would seem that some names have been added after the original list, since the upper part of the plate lists names in alphabetical order, and an additional set of names has been added on another plate affixed below, but all within the wooden frame. The lettering has been incised and painted black, using Roman capitals throughout.
